The Genesee County Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce the inaugural edition of the Genesee County Place Guide, a new annual publication designed to tell the story of Genesee County through the people, places, businesses, experiences, and communities that shape it.

More than a traditional visitor guide or business directory, the Place Guide will serve as a year-round resource for visitors, residents, prospective residents, businesses, and community stakeholders.

Through compelling photography, local stories, destination information, dining, recreation, special events, and a comprehensive Chamber Member Directory, the Place Guide will provide an authentic look at Genesee County and the qualities that make it a great place to visit, live, work, and do business.

Submission Information & Advertising Policies

Rates include basic ad design services. Once your reservation is received, a member of our team will contact you to gather logos, photos, copy, and any other materials needed to create your advertisement. Businesses are also welcome to provide print-ready artwork that meets the publication specifications.

Please note the following:

  • The Genesee County Chamber of Commerce may edit advertising copy for length, formatting, grammar, and clarity while preserving the advertiser's intended message.
  • The Chamber reserves the right to decline advertising that does not align with publication standards or the mission and values of the organization.
  • Advertisements should accurately represent the businesses, products, services, places, and experiences being promoted. Any AI-generated or digitally altered content must comply with applicable laws and may not materially misrepresent people, experiences, or endorsements.
  • Advertising reservations, artwork, and supporting materials must be submitted by the published deadlines to ensure inclusion in the publication.
  • Any legal expenses arising from advertiser-submitted content shall be the responsibility of the advertiser.
