Membership Agreement

  1. Membership: You agree to become a member of The Genesee County Chamber of Commerce for a 12-month commitment.
  2. Dues:
    1. Dues are based on employee size.
      1. You have the option to enroll in annual or monthly payments.
    2. A late fee will be calculated for missed monthly payments.
    3. Membership will be dropped if annual dues are not received by May 1st.
  3. Communications:
    • Email: You consent to receiving emails from the chamber for communications related to membership, events, and other relevant information.
    • Sharing: The chamber may share your contact information with other members or partners for networking and promotional purposes, unless you opt out.
    • Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of receiving certain communications by contacting the chamber at chamber@geneseeny.com
  4. Website and Member Portal:
    1. Information: The chamber may publish certain member information on its website or member portal, such as name, company name, and contact information.
    2. Privacy: The chamber will handle your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy.
    3. Updates: You are responsible for keeping your information up-to-date on the member portal.
  5. Video/Photography: By attending chamber events, you consent to photography and videography of yourself and your likeness. You grant the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce the right to use your image, likeness, and voice in
    photographs, videos, or other media for promotional, advertising, or other lawful purposes (website, social media, publications). You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein you appear.
  6. Termination:
    • Early Termination:
      • Annual Dues - If you terminate this agreement before the end of the 12-month commitment, you will not be subject to a refund of dues
        • Renewal: At the end of the 12-month commitment, you will be subject to a termination fee that is equal to the remainder of your membership dues.
      • Monthly Dues - If you terminate this agreement before the end of the 12-month commitment, you will be subject to the remainder of your membership dues.
        • Renewal: At the end of the 12-month commitment, your membership will automatically renew unless you provide written notice of termination 30 days prior to renewal date.

By completing the application and submitting dues, you agree to the terms of this membership agreement.
