Partnerships & Membership Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Tourism Industry Engagement

• Foster collaboration among tourism-related businesses, attractions, lodging properties, and hospitality partners.
• Support tourism partner participation in promotional and industry initiatives.
• Assist with stakeholder communications and collaborative tourism development efforts.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the visitor experience and tourism economy.

Business & Community Relations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for businesses, tourism stakeholders, and community partners.
• Coordinate ribbon cuttings, grand openings, business anniversaries, and recognition programs.
• Represent the organization at business, tourism, and community events.
• Support initiatives that strengthen the local business environment and enhance community vitality.

Membership Development & Engagement

• Lead membership recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts.
• Conduct outreach to prospective and existing members through visits, meetings, networking events, and communications.
• Manage member onboarding and engagement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with Chamber programs, resources, and business opportunities.
• Prepare membership reports and performance metrics.

Partnerships & Sponsorship Development

• Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities for Chamber and Tourism programs, events, and initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with sponsors, investors, and strategic partners.
• Coordinate sponsor recognition, stewardship, and fulfillment activities.
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that support organizational goals and community impact.

Revenue Development

• Support organizational revenue goals through membership sales, sponsorship development, advertising opportunities, and partnership initiatives.
• Assist in identifying and developing new non-dues revenue opportunities.
• Track and report on membership, sponsorship, and partnership performance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in business development, membership services, sponsorship sales, community relations, tourism, economic development, or a related field.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience engaging stakeholders and supporting revenue-generating initiatives.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation

• Full-time; hourly, non-exempt (Mon-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm; occasional evenings/weekends).
• Salary Range: $24–$26.44/hour ($50,000–$55,000 annually)
• Paid holidays, vacation, SIMPLE IRA match, health insurance contribution, and flexible scheduling.
