Irish Dance with Kayla Stone
This class introduces the traditional foundations of Irish dance while celebrating its cultural roots through both solo steps and céilí (group) dances. Students of all levels are welcome to explore the culture, connection, and artistry of Irish dance.
Kayla Stone is an open championship level Irish dancer with Rochester Academy of Irish Dance and has been a member of ROCeltic as both a dancer and choreographer since 2019. She began her dance training at the age of three, studying ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop before discovering Irish dance at age seven. Over the past 14 years, Kayla has trained and competed at the regional and national levels and taught Irish dance from 2020 to 2023 at a local studio. With a passion for performance, choreography, and inspiring young dancers, she is excited to share her love of Irish dance with the community.
