AI Summit for Genesee County Chamber Members | University of Rochester

Move from AI curiosity to practical action at the Main Street Event AI Summit, a one-day working conference designed for small and mid-sized businesses, nonprofits and community organizations.

No technical background or previous AI experience is required. Through practical sessions and guidance from leaders in business, education and technology, attendees will explore how AI can support communication, productivity, decision-making, workflow improvements and daily operations.

Participants will begin developing a virtual AI Starter Playbook that includes:

• A written 90-day AI action plan
• Draft guidelines for responsible AI use
• An inventory of potential AI opportunities
• A realistic first use case to explore
• Comparisons of AI tools based on cost, business fit, learning curve and data handling

The summit is part of a three-part series that includes an introductory webinar, the full-day conference and a 90-day follow-up event, along with ongoing meetups and programming.
