186th Genesee County Fair | Genesee County Fairgrounds
One of the longest consecutively running county fairs in New York State, the Genesee County Fair, is celebrating its 186th year! It's a short drive from Rochester and Buffalo, and with just a $10 parking fee, it’s one of the most affordable family activities of the summer.
Since 1839, Upstate New York families have attended the annual fair at the Genesee County Fairgrounds to enjoy classic fair foods, meet and greet with over 1,200 animals, hop on the rides, and more.
In 2025, the annual county fair will again include a second weekend! Over the 8 days of the fair, attendees will enjoy nightly live music, daily 4-H animal shows, pig races, wood carving, pony rides, and amusement rides!
