UConnectCare | Membership Campaign
Every day, lives are transformed through the compassionate care and support provided by UConnectCare. For individuals facing addiction, mental health challenges, and other behavioral health needs, the organization offers more than treatment, it provides hope, healing, and a path forward.
About five years ago, one individual, whom we'll call "John," turned to UConnectCare after years of struggling with addiction and serious health challenges. With the support of dedicated doctors, counselors, peer advocates, and a team committed to his success, John was able to rebuild his life. Today, he enjoys stability, meaningful relationships, and accomplishments he once believed were out of reach.
Stories like John's are made possible because our community continues to invest in recovery and wellness.
In 2025, UConnectCare served more than 1,400 individuals through its integrated outpatient clinics, providing nearly 36,000 counseling sessions. Community support also helped the organization reach more than 9,000 youth and adults through prevention programs designed to build resilience and encourage healthy choices. In addition, UConnectCare expanded access to care by opening its Women's & Children's Center in Albion, creating new opportunities for individuals and families to receive the support they need.
As the need for behavioral health services, recovery support, and prevention programs continues to grow, UConnectCare is preparing for the future. Membership support helps ensure that every person seeking help has access to compassionate care, essential resources, and a community that believes recovery is possible.
Every contribution makes a meaningful difference:
- $25 helps a local resident participate in a monthly sober recreational outing.
- $50 provides a week's worth of meals for a resident at the detox program, Atwater Community Residence, or the Women's & Children's Center.
- $100 supplies essential bedding, pillows, and personal hygiene items for someone beginning their recovery journey.
- $100 also provides one night of emergency housing for an individual experiencing homelessness while navigating recovery challenges.
Looking ahead, UConnectCare hopes to open a Youth Recovery Center; a safe, welcoming space where young people can connect with peers, access recovery support, develop leadership skills, and build a strong foundation for lifelong wellness.
By renewing a membership or becoming a member for the first time, community members and businesses can help make this vision a reality. Every gift supports programs and services that strengthen individuals, families, and the community as a whole.
Recovery happens one person, one family, and one community at a time. Together, we can help ensure that hope, healing, and opportunity remain available to everyone who needs them.
