Local Photographer Celebrates Children in First Annual Simply Me Art Show
Batavia-based photographer Ashley Bringenberg is inviting the community to celebrate 14 amazing children in a powerful and joy-filled way with the debut of the Simply Me Art Show this July at Richmond Memorial Library.
The exhibit features striking black-and-white studio portraits of children ages 3–12, all captured as part of Bringenberg’s Simply Me portrait experience. Designed to honor the individuality and personality of each child, the series showcases kids exactly as they are—confident, quirky, thoughtful, silly, and everything in between.
“These portraits are all about giving children a chance to be seen and celebrated just for being themselves,” said Bringenberg. “This show highlights the everyday magic that lives in their personalities.”
The Simply Me portraits will be on display in the children’s room throughout the month of July, with a special opening reception on Tuesday, July 1, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Richmond Memorial Library (19 Ross St, Batavia, NY). The public is warmly invited to attend and celebrate the amazing children featured in this one-of-a-kind portrait experience.
