Erected in 1815, this building is the birthplace of Western New York where the 3 million acres of Western New York were surveyed and sold. A wonderful collection of Genesee County and Western New York artifacts including gallows, many fine textiles, maps and civil war materials. There are also frequent temporary exhibits celebrating the history and culture of Genesee County.
